How to burn Xbox 360 games (.DVD/.ISO) with ImgBurn (free software)

NOTE* THIS IS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY! WE DO NOT SUPPORT PIRACY, THIS IS FOR LEGAL BACKUPS ONLY!

With the release of the latest xtreme firmwares for the XBox360 it is now possible to download and play full games on all versions of XBox360. You should only download and burn backups of games you already own. I'm not taking any blame if you get arrested, fined, or deported.

Tools Needed

DVD-R DL discs include: Verbatim, TDK, Memorex, Sony etc...

STEP1:

Make a legal backup of the game you wish to use.

STEP2:

Install abgx360 and open it.

STEP3:

Set up abgx360 like in the pictures..







STEP4:

Now that you've set the correct options, go to the quickstart tab and click on the "file icon" next to the address bar looking thing and find the folder you made earlier. Inside it should be a .iso file that you extracted like 2 mins earlier. ***(Notice how they say iso file in the picture, disregard the notepad icon next to the games, that's irrelevant





STEP5:

Double click the game you want, and it should bring you back to abgx360 quickstart tab, now at the bottom click "Launch". Now a window should come up. Since your verbosity level should be set on "high" a lot of info will come up you probably won't understand, that's perfectly fine. Find where it says "Region Code", it should be under all of the achievements, anyways, for region code it should either say Region Free(which means anyone can play it),NTSC/U( this means the united states people can play it), NTSC/J( this is for japanese and chinese people, unless it says otherwise), and PAL( this is for people from Europe, Australia, and New Zealand). If the region code applies to you, e.g you live in Alabama and it says NTSC/U, then you can play this game, however, if it says PAL then you cannot play the game.

STEP6:

Now scroll down towards the bottom and look at where it says "Checking Game CRC" near the bottom, and it should look like this:



***(Make sure that where it says DiscSoure, right next to it should be retail, it should look like DiscSoure=Retail. Also, don't forget that if it doesn't say "SplitVid is valid" or "verification was successful" it's ok as this is probably because the game either hasn't come out yet or isn't fully verified)***

One final step, open up ImgBurn and click "Write Image file to Disc", it's the first one there. (Don't forget to put a DVD-R DL in) .
